A calendar for Slack — not next to it 30-second install Public or private — every channel works Free up to 2 calendars

How it works

Your Slack calendar, up and running in under five minutes.

No new app to learn, no separate sign-in. Type a slash command in any channel and you're scheduling.

01
/calendar create

Start in any channel

Run the command in any channel you admin. Pick who can add events - admins only, or anyone in the channel. The calendar lives there now.

02
/calendar add

Add what matters

Add your event details and save. Choose to post it to the channel so the whole team sees it, or keep it on the calendar only.

03
/calendar view

Everyone stays in the loop

/calendar view shows what's coming up. Channel reminders post before the event fires. No need to remind anyone.

Everything you need

Built for the way teams actually use Slack.

See all features

One source of truth per team

Every team's plans live in the channel doing the work. Not in a thread, not in someone's personal calendar, not in a doc nobody opens.

Reminders that don't need a human

Slack calendar reminders post to the channel before every event — a day before, an hour before, five minutes before, your call. No one has to remember to remind anyone.

Permissions that match how channels work

Anyone in the channel can view. Creators edit their own events. Channel admins have full control.

Everything inside Slack

Add a shared calendar in Slack without a new browser tab, a new login, or a new app to install.

Your personal home space

The Scalendar Home rolls up every calendar you have access to. See exactly where you need to be in one place.

Visibility for the whole team

Everyone in the channel sees the same plans. No more asking "Are they working today?" in the channel.

Calendars don't belong in another app.

Your team already has Slack open. Meet them there - just /calendar create in any channel and you're done.

Questions

Things people ask before installing.

Do we really need another tool? We've already got Google Calendar.
The whole point: this isn't another tool. It's a calendar inside the place your team already talks. Google Cal is great for your personal schedule; Scalendar is for the shared rhythms that should live in #product or #team-ooo — not buried in someone's personal calendar.
Does Slack have a built-in calendar?
Not a shared one. Slack has personal reminders and the official Google Calendar and Outlook apps that show your events to you inside Slack — but nothing native that gives a whole channel a calendar everyone can edit and get reminders from. That's the gap Scalendar fills.
How is this different from the Google Calendar Slack integration?
An integration links to a calendar that lives elsewhere — your personal Google Calendar, surfaced inside Slack and visible to you. Scalendar is the calendar — created in the channel, edited inside Slack, visible to everyone in that channel. The two don't compete; plenty of teams run both. The integration handles your personal schedule; Scalendar handles what the team plans together.
What's the best calendar app for Slack?
We obviously think it's Scalendar, but the honest answer depends on what you need. If you want your personal Google Calendar visible inside Slack, install the official Google Calendar app. If you want your team to share a calendar inside a channel — with reminders that post themselves and an App Home rollup of every calendar you can see — that's Scalendar.
What does my team actually see in Slack?
Events post as cards in the channel — same kind of message as any other Slack app. The Scalendar Home tab rolls up every calendar across every channel they can see, sorted by date. No separate UI, no learning curve.
Do I need to be a Slack admin to install Scalendar?
Yes — Scalendar installs at the workspace level, so you'll need an owner or admin to approve. Not an admin? Slack lets you "request" the install with one click and pings them for approval. After that, anyone can create calendars in channels they own.
What does Scalendar see in our Slack?
The minimum needed to run a calendar. Slash commands typed at /calendar, the channel name where the calendar lives, and the events you explicitly create. Regular channel messages are never visible to Scalendar.
